A Rucksack!

Just got back from Max’s house. He let me borrow his rucksack for the festival next week and it was nice to go round and see him. I’ve not seen him in a while because he works a lot and doesn’t really go out much. It was all uni work work, then he got a job at a gmaes company and he’s all “Got to work so I don’t get fired.”

His girlfriend is lovely, she also saved my ass last week when I had rent trouble. Helps to have friends working for estate agents.

I’m trying to get all my friends together to camp in the same general area. I fully doubt I’ll be able to get a big enough spot, but I can always try!

So it’s big festival yay time next week and I’m getting all excited and things. I’ve done my shop for little things that I’ll probably need, such as wet wipes and sun creme. Couldn’t let myself forget the latter and repeat last years burnariffic weekend. Eurgh.

Jack’s starting to piss me off at work. Every since I admitted to sleeping with him there’s been endless mockery for both of us and I think he’s got it tenfold. His reaction to this is to treat me like he doesn’t even like me and it’s getting very annoying.

I really don’t want to feel any tension between me and anyone I’ve been intimate with, because that’s just shit. Those kind of situations are easy to ignore, or makes an opportunity to be closer to a person. I don’t want to let myself feel like I do it and it’s like I just shook someone’s hand.

I tell myself I don’t like him, then I feel like I do like him. I’m so confused but it’s alright because half the staff are leaving this pub and moving on to another down the road. This makes me happy for some reason.

Some of the lads in work have decided to start leaving the place in a mess before I start my shift, simply because they know I get annoyed by it. That’s so unfair because I do my best to leave the place tidy when I leave a shift and they’re only being asked to DO THEIR JOB. If I was supervisor I’d probably look to do something about it, but I really couldn’t handle the responsibilities of the job for just 10p more an hour.

Bah. Work, hey?

So Here We Go

I keep telling myself I should write a blog somewhere for myself because I know I like to read things back after some time. When I was younger I used to keep a hand-written diary, and then I moved onto a diary which I typed up online. As I got a bit older I seemed to lose most of my attention span and my entries became nothing but complaining and no real juice.

That’s got to change, but not on the old sites. I’ve decided to come somewhere new and write everything down for myself, but with a little secrecy. Now I know I’m not the first to go changing names for everyone to keep things private, but I’ve always liked the idea and wouldn’t want my friends stumbling upon anything bad I may say about them on a whim.

Right now I don’t have the time to be writing a full update but I wanted to get something down to make a start.

I’ll be back.
